Rotating Light, Making a siren / rotating / warning light

In this tutorial i will show you how you can do a rotating light.

1. Make your block where you want to create this light:

2. I build 4 blocks wich represent the rotating lights like this:

3. In the middle i build a small block with ORIGIN texture

4. Do this again, in middle of the first origin block build another one smaller and longer
Attached Image

5. Select the 4 blocks and first origin block and press CTRL + T make it func_rotating with the following values:
  • Render Mode: Additive
  • FX Amount: 100
  • Rotation Speed: 50

On the Flags checK:
  • Start On
  • X Axis
  • Not Solid

5. Select the small origin block and the siren block and press CTRL + T and make it func_rotating with the following values:
  • Rotation Speed: 50

On the Flags checK:
  • Start On
  • X Axis

6. Reposition everything or leave it like this, i reposition with CTRL + M and 90 value on Rotate / Y

You can add extra things, like sounds, lights, sprites, etc.

I added just one extra light in front of the siren.
This is the result in game:
