Grid Size, How to work with dimensions

In this tutorial i will explain maybe one of the most important steps when someone making a map.... Dimensions is the size of the walls, size of the player, and so on...

A good GRID to work in is 8 Size. When you work on smaller details you go untill 1 Size, You can adjust grid sizes from this two buttons on the top:

If you look down in the right of the program you will see:

This means in what grid size are you right now, i work in grid 8, pressing + or - buttons of the grid, this will change:

The perfect size is 8, because a player is size 8, a wall should be size 16 or a little bit higher, maybe 24 size. Let's look in next image:

As you can see, wall of 24 is really big, compared to the player... Next example, let's look on the original Dust2 double doors:

Height is 20 units in GRID 8, is good just because is big doors, for a normal door this is just too big, a door in 20 Height units vs. 12 units door.

You can set your default grid in Tools -> Options
